Titleist Fitting Day
I'm very pleased to announce that I've agreed a Fitting Day with Titleist this year. The date is Saturday, 16 May and it will run between 12pm-4pm, so if you're looking to buy one or two of their iconic Vokey wedges or would like to try any of their current 915 drivers or fairways (or any other clubs come to mention it), this is the ideal time for you to try their clubs.
As always, if you'd like to book an appointment to be fitted by one of the Titleist technicians, please click here to let me know.

Please look out for some fantastic new ECCO shoes for both men and ladies as well as the terrific new DNA shoe from FootJoy. Club cleaning service
With relatively little golf going on at the moment, now is the time to look at your equipment and how best you can improve it. So why not drop in your clubs to us and allow us to:
Scrub the grips with a stiff brush and plenty of hot, soapy water. This will help clear the grips of any unwanted dirt and grime and will make them feel a whole lot better.
Give the metal shafts a rub down with some very fine wire wool but ONLY IF THEY'RE STEEL SHAFTS! This will help get rid of any pitted areas and make them shine again. If they're graphite shafts, we'll take off any blemishes in another fashion.
And finally, why not clean the clubheads with that same hot, soapy water? Maybe there's some grooves lurking under there somewehere. ;)
All this for just £10 (up to a maximum of 14 clubs).
The six basic fiundamentals of golf...
There are six basic fundamentals to golf which comprise of aim of clubface, grip, ball position, stance and alignment, posture and finally, the swing. My thinking is that if you can get the first five right, then getting the sixth and final fundamental right, the swing, shouldn't be too tricky. So the next time you're having a practise session, ensure your basic fundamentals are spot on. If you do this, you will definitely improve the chances of playing a better game.
So there's plenty happening in the Pro Shop and remember, as YOUR Club professional, I'd really appreciate it if you came to me first if you've seen something you'd like but it's not in the Pro Shop. In just about every case, I will be able to either match or most likely beat the price you've been quoted and not only that, if a fault develops, I'll deal with it quickly and efficiently and always with your best interests at heart.
Remember; "People who know, come to their Pro!"
